We recently had a weekend stay at a motor inn in Auckland and there were a few positive aspects to our experience. the staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel at ease right from the start. the room we stayed in was clean and tidy, with fresh linen and comfortable beds. the motel was conveniently located near key attractions and amenities, making it easy for us to explore the area.
the TV in our room had limited channels, which was a bit disappointing.

Convenient. Beds pretty comfortable. Had all the facilities we needed for our 4 day stay in Auckland. Good price. Great to have a small fridge and microwave to allow preparation of some meals. We had a hire care, so very easy to travel from here to our destinations around Auckland.
Room service was very variable. First day, room wasn't cleaned, beds not made, towels not replaced;another day beds not properley made (bedcover only pulled up) and another day teabags not replenished but all else done well. Whilst another day, all was done well!

Handiness to town; In room spa pool; they allowed us two car parks.
We didn't like the low standard of cleanliness - dust over the skirtings; snack food under the bed, which was also very dusty (hadn't been vacuumed; bathroom tap was loose; fridge was very small and had a piece broken on it; we killed a large cockroach in the room - the ants disposed of it; there was no soundproofing between the rooms - we could hear word for word conversations from the guests next door. I also did not like having to have my credit card charged on arrival (rather than at the end of our stay). The proprietor told us this was a condition of our online booking. I reread the terms and conditions of our booking when I got home and could see nothing to that effect.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hotel in Auckland, and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by my experience. the value for money was excellent. The prices were reasonable and affordable, making it a great option for budget-conscious travelers like myself. Secondly, the attention to detail was impressive. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and I appreciated the little touches like the tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Lastly, the location of the hotel was ideal. It was conveniently located close to shops and the motorway, making it easy to explore the city and its surrounding areas. I had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.
All in all, my stay at this hotel was fantastic.

The courtyards are private and pleasant - the ability to park outside your room is a great idea.

Food was nice but a little more expensive than what I thought it would be.

Low price, reasonably clean. Woman at reservation was helpful and polite.
I got fooled by the picture and description and thought it was more in the "boutique hotel" type, plus misread the map and thought it was a bit further off the main road. That led me to think it was more of a bargain than it really was. It's pretty much right on Main Sth Road although the room I got was quiet (but very dark with inadequate lighting). It's not a hotel, it's a budget motel and if you just need a bed in this location at a good price it's fine, and the staff are nice enough. but it's a fairly down-market experience if you were with your family or looking for bit of comfort (and there are a lot of reasonable alternatives nearby I noticed).

Loved having the spa in the unit, enjoyed it thoroughly. Very handy to town. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
Shower very weak, heater noisy, cleaners are obviously short people.

It was clean and tidy and for the price reasonable
The shower was only luke warm even when only hot water turned on. The jug for boiling water didn't work
